I hope she will not be ignored like what happened to Jin Goo Oppa who had less appearance on his supposedly main lead character in his latest drama. I don't know if this will boost Kim Ji Won's popularity more because it seems a heavy drama, i don't know something like that in between. And that it is important and no matter how old you are, you can still do what you a passionate for, if you make it happen. However, you are not happy because you have to live with shtty customers, people, co workers, and boss who treat you like crap. I also like the moral of the story, that even though you get a job, and its not what you are passionate for, but you earn money and a livable wage, you are content. I feel like this drama depicted common Korean people life pretty well - from the convenience stores, ready to microwave food, ice cream, clothing, music, friendships, relationships, hardships in job opportunities, and just how life can be shitty sometimes. I find myself so connected to these characters and the hardships that they go through because that is life. I highly respect this drama because of that, that it does not have too much kissing scenes and that they are more focused on the characters themselves, development, and real life scenarios. You girls, need to stop and really indulge and take in this whole drama and understand the storyline and the characters. Seems like people nowadays are too obsessed about kissing scenes and just sexualizing female/male actors/actresses. I do not understand why a lot of girls/fans of this drama are demanding to see a kiss scene between the main leads. These characters are practically adults and are independent - living away from their parents - which is not traditional - and depicts modern Korean youngsters nowadays who are living on their own with roommates during or after college. Probably because the drama is mainly focused on the characters themselves and their own development/storylines. You don’t hear much from Ae Ra, Dong Man, or any of the character’s parents. In this drama, you can see that parents are not really involved.

The younger generation is starting to shift away from family and traditional values, and are moving out of their parents home. Korean drama and films have slowly started to shift away from those themes - along with how society is slowly changing. From sad tear jerker and way too dramatic romance and drama between families, to more variety with comedy, tragedy, action, high school, thirties, and beyond the family and traditional concepts. There has been shifts in dramas and film themes that its been quite fascinating. Here is a bit of my Korean drama analysis of this drama.
